A very popular and versatile grade of polishing mop, similar to the colour mop but slightly softer. This is a medium hardness mop. Commonly used after a sisal on harder ferrous metals such as steels and for a softer non ferrous metals such as Aluminum, copper and brass.

Popular compounds used with white mops are Green 800g,  P14, 113GZ, Lustre and 439T Green.

Open stitch mops are slightly softer than the close stitch, open stitch work better on flat surfaces.
